Fabrication of bilge, potable, grey & waste water plumbing, tanks & discharge systems, AC/DC primary and secondary charging, storage & grounding wiring troubleshooting abilities with marine wiring & motors. Working understanding of outboards, gas & diesel engines.
*Composite material specialist Working with Gel-coat, poly \ vynelester and epoxy resins and putties. Skills in custom matrix fabrication repair and modification of materials of fiberglass, Kevlar. Carbon fiber & polyurethane and wood cores.
* Rigger Maintenance of Racing & Cruising traditional & roller furling mast, boom & head sail system. Tuning & fabrication of standing and running rigging, including deck hardware and ground tackle. Scaffolding & vertical working operation specialist.
* Woodworker Traditional and cold molding repairs and laminated fabrication of framing, planking, decking and spars. Structural to finish marine joinery. Traditional caulking for carvel hulls with cotton and irons. Building carpentry, framing to interior and exterior finish work
* Electronic installer G.P.S., radar, depth sounder, & wind system interfacing to multiple monitors, Auto-pilot. & other research systems; short wave and V.H.F. radio equipment installation; maintenance and repair of primary and data wiring systems to withstand the harshest maritime environments.
*Painter Ranging from bright work to two part urethanes using brush and spray. Specializing in polyurethane and varnish topcoat touch-up repairs.
* Delivery Capt. Blue water delivery of vessels up to 85 feet.
* Heavy equipment operator 30 and 60 ton Travel Lift and hydraulic trailer, 5,000 lb. to 25,000 lb. fork trucks & 30,000 lb. crane {MA. class B licensed]
* Yard Manager Synchronizing storage & winterization with special needs for cradle or frame work for job covers or shirk wrap. Establish maintenance schedules for the yards equipment, including operation & general maintenance and repair for 100 slips marina, with wood & concrete float systems.
* Project manager Coordinate written & photo documentation of survey appraisals for Renovations, Warranty & Damage evaluations. Coordinating personnel & ordering of project stock, dovetailing it with other departments work schedule to insure timely completion of projects.
* On the Road Tech Repair & Commissioning service completed from GA. to ME.
ACHIEVEMENTS
* Oversaw and participated $60,000 repair to a Beneteau 523 which was 200 mi. from our base of operation & getting her to the Fall Boat shows.
* Oversaw and participated in three cockpit & transom extension projects, Chris-Craft S.F., Hateras M.Y. & Hateras S.F..
* Developed a load bearing keel replacement with an impact energy absorption zone, for Ocean S.F. Yachts.
* Oversaw and participated in the maintenance and renovation metal & wood structured buildings, to include office space with custom cabinetry & desk top.
* Rising above & utilize my Dyslexia.
